City of Wanneroo Coastal Management Plan

Date

The City of Wanneroo are asking for submissions concerning the Coastal Management plan. One area of interest to many of our members is the provision of a Horse Beach. There is an online questionnaire that is easy to complete by going to http://www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au/Planning/Coastal_Management_Plan Please take the time to do this as the Horse Beach located in Joondalup Council is becoming less and less accessible and is very inadequate. Pass this link on to anyone you know who might be interested. Obviously, more people showing an interest in the Horse Beach will hopefully show Wanneroo Council that it is needed and wanted by many.

PCAWA & EFA Dual Membership Rebate

To find out about the $50 rebate for anyone holding both PCAWA and EA Membership go to the PCAWA website www.pcawa.com

Kidsport Membership Fee Assistance

KidSport will assist eligible families to receive up to $200 annually for each of their children aged between 5 – 18 years, to subsidise fees to join a sport and recreation club.
Eligible families include those with health care cards or pension concession card, or those referred by other community groups, such as schools, juvenile justice teams, government agencies and health practitioners. These groups are known as referral agents. For more information, go to www.pcawa.com and scroll down the home page for more info.

Dressage Championships Qualifications 2012

Date

The State Dressage Champs scheduled for 11/12 August qualification rules have changed this year. Any riders competing must provide copies of 2 Dressage Tests showing a score of 55% (previously 52%) or more on the horse that you use at the Championships in the 12 months leading up to the Championships – this can include tests from the 2011 Dressage Championships. These must be judged by an official judge doing the test you compete in at the 2011 Championships. In order to prevent a panic in July when we are collating forms and tests, we ask that you scan and email your tests as you do them to Kath Drummond bkdrumm@bigpond.net.au who will keep these on record.
